Shelter Makeover

Winter Greetings to all from Safehome Staff and Board Members!

The weather has decided to remind us that winter is just around the corner. It may be cold outside, but inside the walls of Safehome, the atmosphere is very warm due to extreme generosity from all the individuals who participated in our “Adopt-A-Room” Project during the past 18 months.

We have officially finished the 1st phase of the “Adopt-A-Room” Project and wanted to “show off ” our new shelter. Following this letter, you will find before and after pictures of the renovated spaces with the number of hours devoted to each renovation. Then you will find a complete list of project donors.

In 2007, we will kick-off the 2nd phase of the “Adopt-A-Room” Project—

now that the inside is so beautiful, we have outdoor projects that need attention, but for now, we’re just relishing the renovations and especially during the holiday season, being most thankful for the many displays of giving—through monetary treasures, time, sweat, blood (just a little), and lots and lots of paint.

For a home that was built in 1900, Safehome is looking better than ever.

Thank you to all who supported the “Adopt-A-Room” Project in any way, we could not have done this on our own. Enjoy the pictures—it will surely give you a warm feeling.

Happy Holidays from our family to yours…..and come by for a visit!

Sincerely,

Ammie
