ALONE

I was mean and cruel to you this morning without a nice thing to say,

Putting only myself first again, not seeing how you felt as I sent you on your way.

I can only ask for forgiveness my love so many times is true...

You see I’ve never let anyone as close as you.

I lash out to hide my feelings of pain and despair....

To keep everyone at bay hardly seems fair.

Far from perfect I may be.......
